Why should I get a sofa bed?

Sofa beds are a practical and comfortable addition to any home, big or small. They’re perfect for having guests stay over, reducing the need for an extra bed or a spare bedroom. 

Sofa bed sizes

For smaller spaces, we have a range of 1-seater and 2-seater sofa beds that take up minimal space in the living room, and transform into comfortable single or double beds when needed.

For large sofa beds, 3-seater and 4-seaters can fit plenty of people and big families. 5-seater and 6-seaters corner sofas are also available, which include a spacious double sofa bed. Corner sofa beds are also good for making the most out of your space. They can fit into a corner out of the way, rather than taking up a whole wall or the centre of a room.

Many homes use sofa beds as their main bed, rather than as a spare. This is common in studio flats, which turn from a living room in the day into a bedroom at night. Small sofa beds are also practical for small bedrooms, allowing for more floor space during the day time.

Choosing a sofa bed

When purchasing a sofa bed, you should consider the space needed for a bed, as well as just a sofa. With a pull-out mechanism, there needs to be space in front of the sofa bed, or you should at least be able to move the objects in front easily. With some sofa beds however, the backrest is pushed back and flattened, meaning space is needed behind the sofa also.
