We know that applying for a new role can feel like a big step, so we want to make sure your experience with us is clear, straightforward, and engaging. Here’s what you can expect at each stage of your journey with Sofology.

1 Apply online - quick & simple

Found a role that feels like the perfect fit? Great! Simply hit ‘Apply Now’ and submit your application. We’ll ask for a few key details and your CV / a quick video application / portfolio depending on the role you are applying for. 


2 Application review - we read every one!

Once you’ve applied, our team will carefully review your application. We don’t use AI to filter candidates - real people read every application, looking for the right skills, experience, and attitude to match the role. If you’re a great fit, we’ll be in touch to invite you to the next stage.


3 Interview - a friendly chat

Our interviews are a two-way conversation - we want to get to know you, and it’s also your chance to learn more about us. This could be a phone chat, a video call, or a face-to-face interview. Expect competency or scenario-based questions (STAR is a great technique to use!), and feel free to ask us anything too!


4 Feedback & next steps

We believe in keeping you in the loop. After your interview, we’ll aim to get back to you as quickly as possible with feedback and let you know the next steps. If you’re successful, we’ll guide you through everything you need to know before joining us.


5 You’re officially a Sofologist!

Once you’ve accepted your offer, we’ll start getting everything ready for your first day. From onboarding to meeting your new team, we’ll make sure you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

Applying for a Role

  • Applying is easy! Click here to view our current open roles. From there, you’ll be guided through the application process.


  • That depends on the role! Some positions require specific experience, but many are all about attitude, personality, and a willingness to learn. If you’re passionate about great customer experiences and love working in a team, we’d love to hear from you.


  • Absolutely! If you’re excited about the role and believe you’d be a great fit, go for it. We hire people, not just CVs, and we’ll support your development along the way.


  • Once you’ve applied, our team will carefully review your application. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll be in touch about the next steps, which could include a phone chat, a video call, or a face-to-face interview.

The Interview Process

  • During your application you will be asked if you need support. If you select yes, a Talent Partner will contact you via your preferred method.


  • Our interviews are a friendly and engaging conversation - nothing scary! We’ll ask about your experiences, your skills, what you might do in a certain situation and how you’d add to our culture. We might also ask scenario-based or competency questions, so using the STAR technique can help to structure your answers.


  • We don’t expect you to turn up in a suit. Just wear something smart-casual that makes you feel comfortable and confident.


  • A little bit of preparation goes a long way! Take a look at our website, learn about our values, and think about some examples that showcase your skills. Most importantly - relax and be yourself!
