Inspired by the layered stone architecture of the Materan Sassi, the Sasso is an effortless blend of structured design and soft, indulgent comfort. Crafted in Matera, Italy, by Calia Italia, its high back cushions feature distinctive horizontal stitching and vertical seams that add a sense of rhythm and depth to the inviting silhouette.

Raised off the floor on high-set, tapered wooden feet, the Sasso offers an airy footprint that will elevate any space. Available as a power recliner for seamless relaxation, you can customise the look and feel with a choice of soft relaxed chenille, cosy woven chenille, cosy sherpa, trusty grain leather, or character natural grain leather.

7 days a week. We offer delivery 7 days a week, from 7am to 7pm. For sofa deliveries made to UK mainland
addresses (including Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) this fee will be £129 per order. For single chair and footstool items, the fee will be £20.*

The ins and outs

Frame Made from hardwood, softwood, and composite wood. Recliner options feature an additional metal frame.
Feet High-set wooden feet in a dark wood shade.
Composition Pocket sprung seats topped with foam wrapped in Dacron fibre. Back cushions are filled with fibre. Side cushions on the arms are filled with foam and Dacron fibre. Scatter cushions are feather-filled.
Mechanism Available as a static sofa or power recliner.
Care and Cleaning We recommend following our 8 easy tips to keep your sofa looking great, and we always recommend using our specially formulated Sofology care kits when cleaning your fabric or leather. You should also regularly plump and vacuum your sofa with the soft brush head attachment. Check out our help centre for full care advice.        
Will it fit? We always recommend you check the dimensions of the specific style and configuration you like before you buy (or ask a Sofologist in store for help). Check the sofa will fit in your room, taking doors, radiators or other furniture into account. With recliner sofas or sofa beds, measure the space needed when they are in use. Measure any doors, hallways and staircases your sofa will need to travel through on delivery day. This sofa does not break down for delivery.
